Tonight, Jim Bob’s will be hosting a special concert, entitled Blow Me Away. The event will feature three rock bands in an effort to raise money to help battle Parkinson’s disease.
Channel One mixes emo, alternative, and hard rock; Flatlined is reminiscent of Tool and Finger Eleven and Set in Stone delivers contemporary rock tracks about issues such as heartache and campus youth culture.
Blow Me Away begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are available for $5 at King’s, the Richard Ivey School of Business, or at the door. Mixed drinks will be $2.50. Visit www.blowmeaway.ca for more details.
