To the Editor:
If the university wants to keep scheduling exams as late as 7 p.m. on weekends, it would be helpful if it made food or coffee more readily available.
I love The Spoke, but it’s definitely not healthy to eat there every day while studying at the library. And while I appreciate the argument that we can pack our own lunches and dinners to bring to the library, this takes time — something a student in the midst of exams doesn’t exactly have much of.
If the university is going to inconvenience students (and faculty, for that matter) as much as to schedule an exam at 7 p.m. on a Sunday night, it should at least have the decency to keep a place open where we can buy a variety of healthy foods or at least a Tim Hortons coffee until 5 p.m. in the UCC.
