The Beatles
Let It Be... Naked
Capitol/EMI
Thirty-four years have passed since Let It Be was recorded, but now it's finally released the way The Beatles wanted it to be. The album, recorded in early 1969, was to be an album of live recordings; it was to have the feel and warmth of the original Beatles material. Let It BeÉ Naked sports a new tracklist and has been restored without orchestral overdubs and choir. It contains studio tracks as well as live tracks, including "Get Back" and "Don't Let Me Down."

Blinker the Star
Still In Rome
French Kiss Records
This is a band that definitely deserves more attention. Blinker the Star just
released their fourth album, Still in Rome, and if you've never heard of these
guys, think of them as the Dandy Warhols meets the Super Furry Animals. The
10-track album includes an array of fast-paced and edgy, yet cheerfully ecstatic
songs like, "What Have I Been Waiting For?" and "Don't Believe It," encapsulating
the powerful influences of '70s rock 'n' roll.
