Emerging Irish artist Gemma Hayes showcases her myriad of talents –
including vocals, keyboard and guitar – on her engaging debut album,
Night on My Side. Each distinctive song unites with the rest
to form a perfectly balanced flow.
"Hanging Around" starts the album with energy and a sense of
forward motion, while the pulsating guitars and drums of "Let a Good
Thing Go" lead into Gemma's emotive and sultry musical style.
Although Hayes' voice resonates with exhaustion and vulnerability, it
remains therapeutic.
