Learn to
write and drink all in one night
On Wednesday, Mar. 5, the Periodical Writers Association of Canada is hosting a seminar on how to become a freelance writer.
The seminar will include presentations by successful London journalists and authors Mark Kearney, Pat Currie and Melanie Chambers. "[The seminar is] to give people an idea that freelance writers don't sit at home and watch the soaps," Chambers said.
The seminar will be held in the Tonda Room of the London Central Library from 7-8:30 p.m.. The fee is $15 for non-members of the PWAC.
To register ahead, contact Mark Kearney at 472-4509 or Susan Boyles at 680-1658. Registration will also be available at the door as space permits.
