LAST UPDATED: Thursday September 19, 2002 - 12:30 p.m. When
one thinks of Indian food, "spicy" is the word that often comes
to mind first. While curries are typically served with a kick to the taste
buds, there is a world of other dishes and tastes in Indian cuisine.. Shukvision: Survive this: it's ba-ack - again After
three years and four series, Survivor is still the best reality
show on television. This distinction is sort of like being the smartest
student at Brock, but Survivor, as opposed to garbage like American
Idol or Big Brother, is still a show you can watch without fear
of losing any IQ points – well, for the most part. CD REVIEW: The Riddlin' Kids The debut album from
Riddlin' Kids is not the typical Texan export. Jumping on the bandwagon of
popular punk aimed at teenyboppers, Riddlin' Kids fits right into the
new-age, commercial punk category. With juvenile lyrics about girls,
dating and wanting to run away, interspersed with "sing-a-long"
melodies, Hurry Up and Wait will be a sure hit in the 14-year-old
market. Hit or MIss For all you computer-savvy
metalheads.
OUTSIDE THE BOX: Clash of cultures People
who know very little about former British punk-rockers The Clash should
know you've got to look beyond songs like "Train in Vain" and
"Should I Stay or Should I Go" to get the real essence of the
band. |
