To the Editor: I am not impressed with Ms. Riaz's opinions regarding the death sentence for drug smuggling into Dubai.
What concerns me more is the lack of any compassion for human life shown by her. The 'superior' drug laws of Middle Eastern countries is no doubt effective to some extent but keeping your country drug-free at the expense of human life is arcane. B. McLeod Biology III
