Our Lady Peace
![]() ©Geoff Robins/Gazette HEY LOOK, IT'S A STARSEED! AND WHAT THE HECK IS A NAVEED? From deep inside the intergalactic confines of Thompson Arena, a beam of light rains down on Raine Maida, lead singer for Our Lady Peace. Last night's sold-out show packed more than 4,000 screaming rock fans eager to listen to loud music from the band's newest album, Clumsy. Maida's lyrics had a taste of sex, cannonballs, trapeze, teen angst and spiritual guidance throw in the fact that two of the band members are former Western students (bassist Duncan Coutts and guitarist Mike Turner) and it made for one heck of a happy night. |
