DAILY
I'm in my place The only place I can go without catching fire, Without being stoned, biblically. In here, I crush Sundays And take my lunch driving. It's a freedom you read about But can't really know. Like a soldier detailing combat From a textbook perspective. I have been to war. My songs of experience don't come from a book, I etch them daily, I walk them to school and back. There is no need for narration, I just step outside open my eyes, And leave my place. Marcus Templer
