To the Editor:

Thanks to Daryl J. DeKlerk for his letter to The Gazette. I too pine for the days when the news was written by, and for, white and certainly heterosexual males. A student newspaper should only concern itself with the exploits of Western athletes, clubs and band reviews, Davenport's latest proposals for undermining student representation and a smattering of local and national news. Please, no more special editions on women's issues, homosexuals, black history or natives, preaching inclusiveness, tolerance, understanding and acceptance. I too look forward to reading more objective issues in the future.
